Description:

With healthy biomechanics always a priority, Erin offers a well-rounded, challenging, and invigorating Pilates experience. Designed to be safe and effective for people who have low bone density or back pain, her classes typically begin with myofascial releases, then progress from deep core work to functional strength. Become stronger and stand taller, all while improving your flexibility and balance! These classes are an approachable level, suitable for most people… Monday evenings include more release work and move along at a deliberate pace, while Friday mornings are livelier, with more challenging progression options.

What to Expect in a Group Mat Class:

These classes include exercises that are done on a mat; lying down, seated, on all fours, and standing.  Props such as foam rollers, magic circles, balls, and thera-bands may be incorporated into the class to enhance myo-fascial releases, stretches and exercises.  Since mat classes are in a group setting, there is less individual attention than in a private or duet session- however, modifications or special instructions may be given for those who have an injury or specific condition.
